At Vertex we strive to be constantly enhancing our collective understanding of cutting edge characterization and remediation technologies.

We accomplish this by seeking opportunities to learn, improve, and share information with others in our field.

These include attending conferences, presenting at industry conferences, organizing our own series of technical seminars annually (SMART Remediation seminar series), presenting Lunch & Learn seminars for our clients, and creating case studies to share the details of our many, varied projects.



To help us stay up to date, our staff routinely attend industry and scientific conferences related to environmental contamination, delineation, and remediation. These include  , SMART Remediation and many others.

SMART Remediation

Each year, we present Smart Methods in Advanced Remediation Technologies (SMART) – a series of technical learning seminars for environmental professionals. We have been organizing these SMART seminars in various cities across the country, bringing together the North American environmental community since 2010 .

Lunch & Learns

Many of our clients enjoy the convenience of having someone from our team attend their office to present on technologies and advancements in the field of remediation. Along with a discussion of the technologies and their application, we tend to present case studies on our projects. We find case studies are a favourite as they “tell a story” and help to solidify concepts in our audiences minds.
