Vertex is Expanding – Journey to a New Shop & Office!

Vertex is growing and we’re excited about our recent move into a new shop and office!

After ten years at the same location, we were busting at the seams. Despite multiple expansions within our own industrial complex, our landlord finally had no more space to offer. For a year we looked and finally found the perfect place, we bought it in 2019 and just finished renovating it.

Here is our journey.

Our new office location used to be a school bus depot.

The many large bays and huge yard are perfect to support our expanding field operations and growing equipment needed to serve our clients.

The week we closed on the deal, we had a celebration on site!

Unfortunately the inside offices were from the 1980s and not suitable. So we destroyed them.

The shop was tidied, we polished up the floors and ultimately painted the whole place.

Check out these progressive shots of the renovations including a touch of Vertex purple paint to make it our own.

We were able to turn one of our garage bays into a new lunchroom for staff, and just had our first physically distanced Team Day on site. 

The new and improved back shop is perfect for storing supplies and servicing equipment. 

Our larger shop and laboratory allows us to do even more including more bench testing.
